IMPORTANT INFORMATION

The authorities only allow 14 boats per turn at a time, and there are 4 turns each day. The meeting times for each turn are 7 am, 9 am, 11:30 am or 2 pm. For the 1st and 2nd turn, the dynamic to ask for a turn works like this: The day before the tour at 3 pm, all the permit holders ask for a turn through WhatsApp and if we are lucky enough to be one of the first messages that the authorities receive, then we have a secure spot for the following day on either the 1st turn (7 am) or 2nd turn (9 am). We always aim for the 2nd turn (9 am) unless it’s a private tour and you request the first turn (7 am).

They assign the turns in the order in which they receive the messages. If we don’t get into the 1st or 2nd turn, then we have to ask for a chance to get on the 3rd (11:30 am) or 4th turn (2 pm) the following morning at 7 am. We cannot guarantee that we will get a turn or which turn we will get until after the turns are assigned each day. We will get in contact with you if we don’t get the desired turn (9 am) to let you know the turn we got assigned.

So please, consider this to plan ahead your schedule for the day.
