Loreto Bay Whale Watching

If you visit Loreto from January through March, you cannot miss this boat tour to see the blue whales, the biggest animal on the planet.

From 7 am through 2 pm you will reach Isla del Carmen where the blue whales are known to hang out. Once you get there the boat stops and you stay still silently waiting for those graceful giants to appear. They come, in and out of the water at a regular interval, they are many and you will never get tired to see them. As a bonus, a gift from nature, you will probably see an incredibly huge pod of dolphins flipping around the boat. It was an amazing surprising sight.
