Description

It is a small community in Baja California Sur, located on Mexico's Federal Highway 1, about 45 kilometers north of San José del Cabo, in the municipality of Los Cabos. Like Todos Santos it is almost directly above the Tropic of Cancer. It is also home to the only zoo in Baja California Sur. Founded in 1721 in the limits of the municipality of Los Cabos, under the name of Misión de Santiago de los Coras, where there are mango, orange and grapefruit orchards, it preserves in the temple the original altar of the old mission. Very close to Santiago, we can find the hot springs that are: Santa Rita and El Chorro. Also near the community is the Ecological Ranch "Sol de Mayo", where there is an incredible oasis with a small waterfall.
